Symposio

Simply the best restaurant in Lindos, bar none. In what seems a seafood heavy menu, make no mistake, this place caters for the meat lovers too. The lamb Symposio is my favourite dish, so much so that we just had to book back in for our last meal of the holiday. Cooked to perfection and it just falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. My girlfriend enjoys taking on the Caesar salad. I say take on, as even for a 'lighter' dish you get a very generous portion and will not leave this place hungry! The seafood is amazing, the calamari with king prawns deserves a mention. Simplicity is the key with this place, nothing is overdone. Instead they just deliver quality food and sublime service. What more can you ask for on holiday? Janis is a wonderful, welcoming host. The two young guys they had working the roof top worked so hard and offered fantastic service. Other nights we watched busy restaurants struggle to cope with the demands, even when they had more staff. These two made it look easy and nothing was a problem for them. Second year in Lindos, still the best restaurant. I look forward to next year.
